The difficulties pale beside the richness of the talk.

Dinner at the Square
“Dinner at the Square” is our annual dinner series on a hot topic of interest. Defying the trend toward discussing issues most central to our lives in 30 second sound bites, we’ll discuss aspects of our annual topic for an entire season. For more info on “Dinner at the Square” click HERE.

Take-out Tuesday
Take-out Tuesday is a regular part of programming at The Village Square. These events are free and open to the public. Bring your favorite take-out dinner and a drink and join us to learn about a hot local, state or national topic. Find links to previous Take-out Tuesday forums HERE.

Sunday Night Supper Club
Sunday Night Supper Club is your event, your way. Gather a politically diverse group of your friends, pick a regular week (oh say the first Sunday), a duration (6 months), a topic (for fun let’s say… your state’s budget) and decide whether you’re going pizza or potluck. For more specifics click HERE.

A Village Circle
A Village Circle is an event held in the spirit of The Village Square but the organizers of the event are not an official Village Square. A Village Circle can be just about anything: A formal debate on a hot local issue, a debate-watching pizza party, a presidential bowl-off (Republicans usually win though). For specifics click HERE.

Politics, Partisans & A Pint
Politics, Partisans & A Pint is a happy hour in keeping with the founders’ vision that our diversity is a creative force. Put another way, George Washington would want you to have a beer across the partisan divide, E Pluribus Unum and all… Great event to have if you want to give the whole Village Square idea a try with beer, without paperwork.
