Come have an honest conversation with us on faith (and politics)…”ground well-trodden by angels and fools”
July 9th, 2009
We’d love for you to join us Tuesday night for our “Summer at the Square” picnic and our conversation “A Rabbi, A Priest, A Pastor & An Imam,” but whether you’re attending or not, why not take a moment to look at this draft list of wisdom on how we navigate those roiling waters where faith meets politics. Last season, our synopsis on “America’s Energy Future” had many objective facts. This season objectivity is a tall order. But, maybe, if we all did everything on our list starting – uh – tomorrow ??… we think we might just learn something from each other and make the world a smidge of a better place while we’re learning? Who knows.
Let us know what you think. All civil comments – critical or complimentary – are warmly welcomed. Try to elaborate enough that we can use your thoughts to improve our list.

I would love to come to this event and know that other folks would too, but $35 is a bit steep for many, especially these days. I think Tallahassee can have a similar conversation without this cost – certainly at the congregations I know well.
Peace and love,
Peg

We do work hard to keep the cost down because I certainly agree with you – It was actually $25 until last night (we encourage people to not wait until the last minute because we have to place a caterer order). Additionally, we gave away over 30 complimentary/scholarship tickets (they tend to go fast). You can buy season tickets now for next year for 79.99 until the end of July (that’s for 4 dinners). If you sign up for our mailing list, you get a monthly email that will always contain the best deals on tickets. We do have free events as well, this is just the featured “breaking bread” across the aisle event. Thanks for the feedback, we really do work to make it both affordable (and stay alive…)
