Your comments to the players in the two major parties are well tuned to the political ideologies of each of the political parties. It really is wearing on me to consider where this is all going.

This idea excites me. Reasoned debate in a civil tone. How novel!

Other than noting that both parties have a bit of a problem with geese-a-laying, I have nothing clever to say (perhaps not even other than that). Also note that while I know we're all busy this time of the year and need to not linger too long over well-wishing, "Happy Holidays" only has one more syllable than "Merry Christmas" and does (most notably) allow for the possibility that one is speaking to someone who is Jewish. I do think there are about FIVE people who are actually fighting a War on Christmas when they say "Happy Holidays", but it looks like we have a numerical advantage and might just pull this one out?

On behalf of liberals, from Neil (posted by Liz):

Well, I’m cancelling your gift of 10 turtledoves, not that Republicans care about dovish things. However, I note that Republicans already have a surplus of lords a-leaping, if you get my drift.

But I do wish the Spann family a very merry free-market, lead-free-toy Christmas.
